Outpost
Appearance
While some rounds may use more standard game-modes, most rounds on Lagrange use the Outpost game mode. Very little happens in this game mode by default. The shift-end shuttle is not automatically called, there are no events, and focus is specifically on station building. The stories that are told during these shifts are completely up to the players.
Past Stations
Here are some previous stations from the early playtests:

Events
To keep things interesting over the days and weeks, sometimes, we will run our own events. Here are some examples:
- The Environmental Primacy Network, a contractor for the Conclave of New Zealots, has set up listening posts near the stations in order to write inflammatory articles about SysCon. The "journalists" who work on these posts are not known for keeping their mouths shut, and try to incite disagreements between crew members.
- A shuttle building and racing show has come to film on Saturn, and has invited the crew to construct and race shuttles for entertainment.
- A small civilian shuttle has crashed on an asteroid and sent out a distress signal. Unfortunately, that asteroid is held by the fiercely territorial (and well-armed) Greater Expansionist Collective. As the nearest capable station, the crew was sent on a search and rescue operation.
