Maps

Lagrange has several custom maps to be used with the Outpost game mode. With the focus on station building, most of these take the form of shuttles or very minimal stations.

SCCS Nucleus

The System Consortium Construction Ship Nucleus is a compact vessel dedicated to construction in the inner heliosphere. Like all outpost vessels, it is intended to become a part of the finished station, thus the name.

Pros

Small, lightweight, fast
Easy to deconstruct as it becomes a part of the station

Cons

Cramped
No round-start telecomms; have to rely on handhelds until getting a server from a wreck

SCCS Omphalos and SCCS Omphalos II

The low-orbit Omphalos and space-based Omphalos II are larger shuttles that work well both in the more densely populated inner system and more lonesome outback. Omphalos-class vessels have been deployed both in orbit above Earth and Jovian Europa, and out in the Asteroid Belt.

Larger and better stocked than the Nucleus
Capable of operating in atmosphere

Cons

Takes some initial setup to get salvage and mining gear consolidated

SCSS Lepus

Before the UN's Automated Trade Station network was solidified, many organizations such as SysCon relied on support stations such as this Lepus-class station. While they are dated in their design, they are still serviceable, and so the decision was made to repurpose and expand them into full stations.

Pros

Compact, yet functional station
Easy to build or repurpose (no more shuttle walls, yay~)

Cons

Extremely minimal amenities
Medbay is limited to topicals and autoinjectors

SCS Gemini

Saturn City sits in the middle of a space tether, anchored at one end with a set of heat sinks down in the denser atmosphere, and at the other by a set of captured asteroids. SysCon has leased these asteroids to construct a station housing a System Shard.

Pros

Functional, if minimal, station already in place
Still within an atmosphere

Cons

That atmosphere is freezing ammonia and nitrogen
Dorms are separate from the rest of the station at round start
